An Un-Familiar Scare

These tears are full
Every fear
Every frustration
Every ache
Counting the pain
It was the only escape
Scrapping the thoughts
Celebration reigns
The rain left its mist
Fogging up the lenses
Sturdy wipes smear
Detection faded into unclear
Forgotten meals
Pride turned stale
Crescent retrograde
Proved energy evolves & doesn’t fade
Unloading the layers
Eradicated simple arguments
Friendships were water to oil
As the family ties unfolds
The blood connector
Thinned out against adversaries
Prayers lifted
“Lord if you hear me
Please don’t take him from me
From us
We need him
But if it’s time
I’m trusting in this heartache
In this season
In this tremble
In this confined sting
With love God
Don’t tear down this bond
He is the sanity
For those reaching sanctity
For us
For us
For us
Lord I thank you
Please show me
There is power in prayer
Faith doesn’t go untested
As your servants don’t go ignored
Amen”
