Pretending for the world

Distant from the cause and effect

Praying planes do fly
Craving destinations beyond reach
Where is the healing for super woman
They wave with fervent greetings
Yet feelings overwhelm the sturdiest
Ostracism was a self inflicted stab wound
Admirably the day waits for the hero with no cape
The power of love breaks through
The expectations of animal kingdom woes
The herds couldn't find shelter without the lioness
The true leader of the pack emerged
Bruised and battered she carried them all through life's journey
Today was her day
Today they celebrate
Today they recognize
Today they praise her efforts
Today they banter & applaud her bravery
Today she stands out
Even with the pains gushing
She smiles
Shes waves
She thanks
She embodies
She welcomes
She understands
Even queens have to adjust their crowns
For the crowd only knows
Her by her charming smile.
